This Website is dedicated to presenting Factual Truth to the public about Rev. Mac a’ Phearsoin that will stand up in any court of law, since there exists full documentation to prove almost every statement made on this website except for the visions in 1961 which would be difficult to prove by actual documentation.

Due to the many years of lies, mis-representations and half-truths made to the public by numerous news media and also by a former business associate, Evelyn Jacobs of Sherwood Park, Alberta, it was felt appropriate, at this time, to present the actual TRUTH about Rev. Mac a’ Phearsoin. Let the Public Judge based upon factual evidence, not the lies and half-truths of the lying news media.

Note: The Legal Name on the Canadian Birth Certificate is Teàrlach Barra Eoin Ròs Dunsford-Mac a’ Phearsoin but common usage in the English language is: Charles Macpherson.

 

Rev. Teàrlach’s ancestor, John Macpherson landed at Orwell Bay, Prince Edward Island in August, 1803 with the Lord Selkirk Ship the Polly, which had set sail from the Isle of Skye, Western Scotland.

Past Unique Accomplishments and Experiences

• 1961 – During the year 1961, starting in the Springtime, Teàrlach experienced many visions given by a Spirit calling himself, Deganawida. Teàrlach was told many things concerning the future. One thing he was told was that he was to found a religious denomination (a Church) that would unite the Christian Spirituality of the European Peoples and the Native Spirituality of the Aboriginal Peoples. Teàrlach was also taken to a Sacred Hill (in South Melville on Prince Edward Island) where he was instructed to burn Tobacco and pray. It was at this Sacred Site that Teàrlach was taught the true meaning of the Sacred Tablets of the Hopi People. He was instructed to keep this knowledge secret and only divulge this truth to people who truly respect Native Spirituality Traditions.

• 1964 – Teàrlach was accepted into the Royal Scots Guards as a Junior Piper through the sponsorship of Rev. R. A. Finlayson, a Church of Scotland clergyman. Instead of proceeding with this offer, Teàrlach relocated to Calgary, Alberta in order to study for the Methodist ministry in accordance with the wishes of his father, Joseph.

• 1967 – Granted License as a clergy in the Free Methodist Church.

• 1970 – Became a Life Member of Vegetarian Society of the United Kingdom (lacto-ovo vegetarian).

• 1971 – Due to renewed visions given by the Spirit of Deganawida, Teàrlach founded The National Spiritist Church of Alberta on December 14, 1971 in order to promote the beliefs and practices of Kardec (Christian) Spiritism and Traditional Native Spirituality.

• 1972 – Rev. Teàrlach inherited personal world-wide ownership of all existing copyrights to the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan through his Uncle Charles MacDonald of Camrose, Alberta. These are registered under Teàrlach’s name in both the Canadian Copyright Office and the United States Library of Congress and are his personal possession for his lifetime plus 50 years after under the provisions of the Universal Copyright Convention. Charles MacDonald had inherited these rights from The Hon. David B. Mullen, Minister for Agriculture in the United Farmers of Alberta Government upon Mr. Mullen’s passing in 1941. The Hon. David Mullen was MLA for Camrose and one of the original 1932 signatories to the Klan Charter as legally-incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta. Rev. Teàrlach intends to donate these copyrights at an appropriate time in the future to a legitimate Elder of the Hopi Nation, since these symbols are specifically referred to in the ancient Hopi Prophecies. Rev. Teàrlach has never believed in or practiced any form of racism and, in fact, the legally-incorporated Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in Alberta in it’s government-registered Charter, clearly welcomed people from all religious and racial backgrounds.

• 1973 – A great tragedy occurred when a heterosexual (straight) friend of Rev. Teàrlach was accidentally shot and killed when he was showing Teàrlach how to unload a handgun. His friend had served two years in military service and Teàrlach had just joined Calgary Gun Club and had no knowledge of guns. A Court of Law fined Teàrlach $2,000 dollars.

• 1976 – Full government recognition of The National Spiritist Church of Alberta as a religious denomination with legal authority to ordain clergy and perform legal marriages was granted by Government of Alberta, Department of Vital Statistics on December 2, 1976.

• 1980 – Working with Rabbi Lewis N. Ginsburg, a well-known Canadian Jewish religious leader, Rev. Teàrlach co-founded Alberta Fellowship For World Peace (incorporated under The Societies Act of Alberta).

• 1985 - Presented successful application to Government of Alberta for legalization of the Practice of Midwifery.
  

• 1985 – Received signed official letter from The Hon. Dave Russell, Minister for Hospitals and Medical Care, Government of Alberta (with consent of Alberta Health Disciplines Commission and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta) confirming that the practices of Alberta College of Remedial Herbalists (incorporated by Rev. Mac a’ Phearsoin) were not in violation of The Medical Profession Act.

• 1986 - Awarded First Medical Malpractice Insurance – Herbalist.

(First person in the world to be awarded such coverage).

• 1994 – Was incarcerated for 2 years in federal prison (Bowden Institution) after being wrongfully accused by his 22 year-old same-sex partner. His partner had attempted to obtain money from Teàrlach for illegal drugs and, when this was refused, told a number of lies to the police authorities. This incarceration was, in large part, due to prejudice and bigotry against gay people in Bible Belt Alberta – it is extremely doubtful if such an incarceration would have occurred in a more enlightened part of Canada. Teàrlach was later granted a Full Pardon by the Canadian Government.

• 1997 – Rev. Teàrlach ordained the first Native Spirituality Elder (Blackfoot Treaty Status Elder) ever granted such a distinction in world history.

• 1999 - Granted Full Security Clearance as Celtic Chaplain at Mission and Ferndale Institutions (Federal Prisons) – 1999 for the only Celtic Descendants Group existing in any prison in the world. Taught bagpiping and Gàidhlig language to 30 % of the prison population.

• 2005 - Ordained the first Alberta Correctional Services Native Spirituality Elder (Treaty Status Cree Elder) in history. The Elder was awarded status as a licensed clergy and the event was granted official written public recognition by Premier Ralph Klein as well as by The Hon. Jack Layton and Edmonton Acting Chief of Police. The ordination ceremony was held at the Native Friendship Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.

• 2005 – In late December, 2004 and early 2005, Rev. Teàrlach was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer) and, following Ultra Sounds and a CATSCAN (at Royal Alexandria Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta) was scheduled for surgery by Dr. Moore, a cancer surgeon at University of Alberta Hospital. Exactly one month before the scheduled surgery, Native Elder Kathleen L. Osborne, a Traditional Aboriginal Healer and a long-time friend of Rev. Teàrlach, treated him with Traditional Medicine. The result was that the surgery at University of Alberta Hospital was cancelled and Rev. Teàrlach has been in excellent health ever since that time. • 2006 – Rev. Teàrlach was granted Community Clergy status through Alberta Health Services (Caritas) with clergy privileges at Alberta hospitals and senior’s facilities as well as usage of hospital chapels to provide worship services.

• 2008 - Granted Full Security Clearance as Chaplain at Ft. Saskatchewan Correctional Facility although was never active in ministry there due, in his opinion, to the bigotry against gay people still prevalent in the Province of Alberta and evident in the actions of the Protestant chaplain at Ft. Saskatchewan Correctional Facility.

• 2008 – Appointed as Commissioner for Oaths by Alberta Justice Department, Government of Alberta.

Trained in Traditional Aboriginal Medicine

Rev. Teàrlach has studied Traditional Aboriginal Medicine for over 15 years under training from Treaty Status Blackfoot, Nakoda and Cree Native Elders. He has attended over 470 Sweat Lodge Ceremonies over an 11 year period as well as practicing four days, no food-no water Traditional Native Spirituality Fasts four times each year and a seven day, no food-no water Fast prior to receiving the right to hold a Sacred Pipe.

Teàrlach was granted the right to carry a Sacred Pipe by a recognized Treaty Status Cree Elder and this right was confirmed in writing and witnessed by two Treaty Status Cree Elders and also confirmed in writing and witnessed by a recognized Treaty Status Nakoda Sioux Elder. Rev. Teàrlach believes in the Prophecies of Deganawida and the Hopi Rock of Prophecy and practices the ceremonial teachings of the Oglala Sioux Holy Man, Black Elk.

Rev. Teàrlach donates any profits earned by his lending and consulting corporations to the furtherance of Christian Spiritism, Native Spirituality and Traditional Aboriginal Medicine Clinics and Colleges.
